Professional Engineering · Shore Power & Utility Infrastructure

Power that passes

the first time.

You've got docks to energize, a season to open, and an inspector to satisfy. Get the electrical design right with a licensed engineering team that has built these systems, not just drawn them; and the rest falls into place.

The Problem

A dock that can't pass inspection doesn't open.

Shore power is where safety, liability, and your schedule all meet. Size the grounding wrong and you don't just trip a pier — you risk putting current in the water where people swim. Miss a code detail and you're looking at a failed inspection, a stack of change orders, and a season that starts late.

You shouldn't have to become an electrical engineer to open your marina safely.

Your Guide

A team that has already solved this down to the product level.

Our founder, Jonathan Hamilton, PE, spent five years at Eaton designing marine shore power and RV products themselves, and thirteen years in railroad signaling, where a wiring error stops trains; earning four U.S. patents along the way. We've built and tested these systems, not only drawn them, so our designs land complete, constructible, and front-loaded to close gaps before they become costly change orders.

And we don't stop at the engineer's stamp. Our bench pairs that electrical expertise with a master code professional and a contracts-and-procurement specialist. So code compliance, safety, and agency paperwork are handled in-house, start to finish.

Independent design capacity for the marina market partnered with Dockboxes Unlimited and built on Eaton Marina Power systems.

The Plan

Three steps to power you can sign off on.

1 - Let’s Talk.

We want to understand your project, goals, and scope everything right…the first time.

2 - Design & Stamp.

A complete, code-compliant package: NEC 555, NFPA 303, ADA, stamped by your PE of record and front-loaded to prevent surprises.

3 - Build it once.

You break ground with drawings that are ready to pass inspection and energize your project on schedule.

What We Design

Three Power Problems. One Team That Solves Them.

Primary Focus

Marina & RV Power

Power pedestals, Marina Power Centers, and utility service upgrades designed to NFPA 303 and NEC Article 555 with ground-fault protection sized to keep docks energized and swimmers safe.

Service

EV Charging Infrastructure

Fleet and public charging from feasibility to stamped drawings: DC fast-charge distribution, transformer and switchgear sizing, and utility interconnection.

Service

Railroad Signaling & Infrastructure

Thirteen years in signaling logic, grade-crossing controls, yard power, and intermodal connectivity with operations-safety compliance carried through every design.

However You Need To Engage

Design

Review, approve, and stamp engineering plans, drawings, and reports as the responsible PE.

Consulting

Support across the whole design process, from first concept through final implementation.

Project Management & Oversight

Oversee construction, hold the build to the design, and provide quality assurance throughout.

Regulatory Compliance

We will ensure that projects are aligned with all applicable local, state, and federal codes.

What Success Looks Like

Energized docks. Safe water. A season that starts on time.

The difference between a project that opens on schedule and one that stalls usually comes down to how complete the design was before anyone broke ground.
